Procrastination: A Major Hurdle for Success of

Procrastination is something almost every student goes through. It often starts with a simple thought — “I’ll do it later.” But that “later” keeps getting pushed, and suddenly deadlines are right in front of us.

Assignments are a perfect example. We know about them days or even weeks before, yet we delay starting. Then, at the last moment, we rush to finish everything in a few hours. The work feels stressful, the quality drops, and sometimes we even miss the deadline. It leaves us feeling guilty and frustrated.

The same happens with exams. Instead of studying little by little, many students depend on one night before the exam. We stay up late, trying to cover everything at once, but end up feeling tired, confused, and underprepared the next day.

The truth is, it’s not always laziness — it’s just easier to avoid things that feel boring or difficult. But this habit only makes things harder in the long run.

If we start a little earlier and stay consistent, things become much simpler. Less stress, better understanding, and more confidence.

In the end, procrastination steals our time and peace. Letting go of it, even slowly, can make student life much easier and more successful.
